The Secrets of Garfield Gulch by Marshall McClintock Originally presented January 22, 2009 for the North Slope Historic District
This is the house located at 702 N. I Street, built in 1902 by A. Russell for Albert Rhodes on the gulch’s bank. The house is oriented with its side to street, so its porch and front door (not seen) face the gulch. The large window in the front parlor looked down the gulch with a view of Commencement Bay and Puget Sound.
