This is the intersection of N. Tacoma Ave. & N. 8th just as N. Tacoma Ave. begins its 1911 curve. --Prior to 1911, a bridge took N. Tacoma Ave. straight across Garfield Gulch. --The northwest corner of the Western Washington Exhibition Hall stood at about the point from which this photo was taken.
